🇺🇸Rules
Here are the server rules. They must be read and followed throughout your entire adventure. Any decision made by the staff, whether based on a rule or not, must be respected.
Part I : Players
Article A : Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your Minecraft account and password. Sharing or lending your account or password to another person is strictly prohibited. We cannot be held responsible if someone else accesses your account. If a rule is broken using your account, even if you are not the one playing, an appropriate sanction will be applied.
Usernames (racist, offensive, political, homophobic, etc.) and inappropriate skins (political, vulgar, or sexually explicit) are prohibited. These rules also apply to renamed items, workers, and pets.
Your /nick (available via a rank) must also comply with these rules. It is forbidden to use a nickname to:
Advertise (YouTube, streams, etc.),
Impersonate another player, a staff member, or a known person.
No account transfers will be supported.
Circumventing any sanction is strictly prohibited.
You must respect the rules and accept the sanctions applied to you. If you attempt to bypass a sanction, its duration will be doubled in the following cases:
Using a secondary account / another player,
VPN / proxy to hide your identity,
Using books, signs, or pets,
Renaming items in the auction house,
Any other similar method (at staff discretion).
Article B : Discord
The Discord server is the main communication platform for ChunkLock. Access is strongly recommended to stay informed of updates and important announcements.
For any question, suggestion, issue, or bug report, please use this platform. Written and voice support are available on Discord.
The game rules also apply on the Discord server, both in chat and voice channels.
Article C : Refunds
Refund requests must be submitted only via a ticket on the Discord server.
No refunds will be issued for items not received due to insufficient inventory space, including voting keys or purchases. Only losses caused by a server bug or issue are eligible for refunds.
Losses due to carelessness are not refundable, including:
Clearlag, incorrect use of /trash or /shop, mishandling a sales stick, incorrect use of /ah sell, items thrown into lava, etc.
A temporary or permanent ban will result in the loss of all benefits for the duration of the sanction. No transfers or access to your in-game assets will be possible.
If sufficient proof is not provided (screenshots or clips), your refund request may be denied at staff discretion.
Any lie or attempt to deceive the staff is strictly prohibited.
Remember to regularly take screenshots or clips of your inventory, chunks, money, etc.
Part II : Gameplay
Article A : Player interactions
Interactions between players must always remain respectful and friendly.
Scams, thefts, griefing, betrayals, and any action that harms other players’ gaming experience are prohibited.
A scam includes any deception during a sale, for example selling two keys at normal price and a third one at a much higher price.
Artificially inflating the average price of an item in the auction house or elsewhere, including through trades between cooperating players, is also prohibited.
If in doubt, open a ticket on Discord.
It is forbidden to join a Chunky or use a bug or prohibited software (FreeCam, LiteMatica, etc.) with the purpose of copying farms, redstone machines, or existing patterns.
Cross-server trading is strictly prohibited, including the exchange of items, money, or any other goods.
To ensure proper farming in adventure worlds and during boss fights, any action that limits other players is forbidden (disruptive mob abilities, standing inside hitboxes, pets physically blocking space, etc.).
Actions within a Chunky
If you voluntarily leave a Chunky, you must notify the leader to organize, if needed, the distribution of resources and money in the communal bank. Also make sure to store your personal and valuable items in secure, private chests (enderchest).
If a player is banned from their Chunky, the leader must immediately return their personal belongings.
Copying farms or constructions within the Chunky is prohibited without the explicit permission of the leader, even if you leave the Chunky. Note: this does not apply to builds taken from the internet.
If sufficient proof is provided, the offending player will be sanctioned, and the victim reimbursed.
Article B : Prohibited actions
The following actions are forbidden on the server:
Anti-AFK and automated systems (water circuits, pistons, Auto Jump, movement macros, Bind Click, etc.).
Real-money transactions: any exchange of real money for in-game items or services.
Placing homes in a competing Chunky without the consent of its members.
Obscene, racist, or discriminatory constructions.
Gambling or casinos in any form, even non-profit, including:
Slot machines, wheels of fortune, betting systems, or any luck-based mechanisms,
Random exchanges of items, money, or rewards between players,
Events or mini-games based on draws or uncertain outcomes.
Misleading item sales: renamed items to deceive, fake keys, items without durability or unrepairable, shulkers containing forbidden items, unusable items, expired scrolls, player heads in /hdb, experience bottles, temporarily bugged items, etc.
Placing/breaking blocks or crops to artificially complete quests or scrolls.
This list is not exhaustive and may be updated at any time.
You must progress legitimately in your professions, scrolls, and passes according to the server’s intended mechanics. Exploiting bugs or glitches is prohibited and will result in sanctions.
Article C : Prohibited game modifications
All clients and mods that give an unfair advantage over other players are forbidden, including but not limited to:
Auto-Click, Auto-Mine, Auto-Farm, Auto-Fishing, Auto-Sell, Auto-Tools.
X-Ray or any mod that allows seeing through blocks.
FreeCam, FlyMod, NoClip, or any flight/phase-through-block modes.
Schematica Printer, Easy Place, Copy/Paste, or any automatic duplication tools.
Macros, BindClick, Scripts, or any automation of commands/actions.
KillAura, Aura Mod, Combat Assist, Reach Extender (combat advantage).
SpeedHack, StepHack, Spider/WallClimb, or any methods of moving faster or differently than intended.
Auto-Place, Auto-Build, Builder Mods that allow building without manual input.
Item Dupe / Exploit Mods that copy or duplicate items.
Inventory / Chest Viewer / Finder Mods that reveal normally hidden information.
Any other clients or mods providing any advantage.
This list is not exhaustive. If in doubt about a client or mod, open a ticket on Discord. Unauthorized use can result in immediate heavy sanctions.
Article D : Authorized Game Modifications
The authorized clients on the server are: Badlion, Lunar Client, Labymod, Feather Client, Modrinth, CurseForge (under certain conditions).
Allowed mods include:
Optifine, Iris, Sodium.
Fullbright, Gamma.
Minimap (only those that do not reveal unvisited chunks).
ReplayMod (only for video creation).
Schematica (without Printer mode) / Litematica (without Easy Place mode).
Toggle Sprint / Toggle Sneak.
If a mod or client does not appear on this list, request authorization from a staff member. Without authorization, any unauthorized use may result in immediate severe sanctions.
Article E : Alternate accounts
Each user is limited to 1 alternate account.
Alternate accounts are not allowed in leaderboards, events, or for votes. It is forbidden to claim rewards (passes, event rewards, playtime, vote parties, jobs, chunks, etc.) or to farm using an alternate account.
An alternate account may only be used for AFK purposes. Boosting your main account (items, money, etc.) via an alternate account is strictly prohibited.
Playing on an alternate account while your main account is banned—or vice versa—is strictly forbidden. Violating this rule will result in doubling the initial sanction, and more in case of repeat offenses.
In short, using an alternate account for any reason other than AFK is prohibited.
If you plan to use your alternate account to start a new adventure, please inform the staff via a Discord ticket. Similarly, if multiple people share the same IP, notify the staff through a Discord ticket.
Article F : Redstone usage
Repetitive factories, overly fast clocks, or heavy/poorly optimized systems are prohibited.
Flying machines and any machines causing lag, intentionally or not, are also forbidden.
AFK farming using or from a vehicle (minecart, boat, pig with carrot stick, etc.) is prohibited.
All redstone machines must include an ON/OFF system or remain completely inactive when not in use.
Item sorters without automatic disposal systems (e.g., lava) are not allowed.
Withers farms are prohibited.
If in doubt about your farm, machine, or system, open a ticket on Discord. Any farm deemed non-compliant with server rules may be removed without refund or notice.
Article G : Cheating & usebugs
Usebugs, item duplication (or attempts), and any form of cheating are strictly forbidden.
Any external mods or software giving an advantage over other players are prohibited.
It is forbidden to use a key, weight, or any other method to block clicks in order to break/place blocks or use items automatically.
Being aware of a bug and not reporting it to the staff in order to exploit it will result in a permanent server ban.
Article H : AFK
Moderators regularly perform AFK checks. Refusing or failing these checks may result in sanctions, even if you are physically present at your screen.
Bypassing the AFK system by any means is strictly forbidden. Any attempt will result in severe penalties.
Article I : Alliances
Any alliance between Chunkys aimed at advancing a player in rankings (monthly level, money, or any other ranking-related item) is strictly prohibited. Abuse will result in heavy sanctions.
Using a third-party Chunky to bypass limits (hoppers, redstone machines, players, etc.), including via an alternate account, is also forbidden.
Part III : Chat
Article A : General rules
The chat is a space for free and friendly exchange, where everyone must be able to communicate respectfully and positively.
Any form of harassment, provocation, insult, or toxic behavior is strictly forbidden and will result in heavy sanctions.
Article B : Types of messages
The following is a non-exhaustive list of inappropriate messages on the server:
Flood: excessive repetition of a character (e.g., “lmaooooooooooooooo”).
Spam: sending multiple messages in a row.
Encouraging flood or spam, including during Q&A events (answers must be sent privately to the organizer).
Excessive use of capital letters.
Insults, provocation, or attacks against other players, communities, or staff members.
Offensive or vulgar language.
Serious offenses: racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, antisemitic, or similar comments.
Violent or hateful statements: incitement to hate, threats, calls for violence, etc.
Sexual content: inappropriate allusions, sexualized content, or inappropriate behavior.
Extreme political or religious statements that provoke conflict.
Shocking or morbid content: mentions of suicide, self-harm, murder, etc.
Threats, harassment, dark humor, or disclosure of private information.
Public criticism of the server or staff.
Trolling, obscenities, or provocative behavior.
Spoilers of content or events.
Begging: requests for items, money, or loans.
Public reactions to sanctions.
All these behaviors are strictly prohibited and may lead to immediate sanctions.
Article C : Platforms
Messages are sanctionable regardless of where they are posted:
Public chat.
Chunky chat.
Private messages.
Books.
Signs.
Abusive use of /nick.
Naming a pet or mob.
Naming a Chunky or warp.
…
Article D : Advertising
Advertising servers other than ChunkLock is strictly forbidden.
You must not mention server names other than Rivrs.
Advertising other platforms, games, or services is also prohibited.
Promoting your personal content (YouTube, Twitch, etc.) is forbidden unless you have the YouTuber, Streamer, or Partner rank.
For in-game advertising (warps, shops, sales, events, etc.), you must use the /pub command and wait 10 minutes between each message.
Each advertisement, announcement, or request must be spaced 10 minutes apart per Chunky or warp.
Abusing the /pub command may result in sanctions.
Article E : Staff absence
If you witness an infraction, take a screenshot, video clip, or any other useful evidence.
Information provided must be complete: date, time, context, etc.
Any abuse of reporting or submission of falsified evidence will result in sanctions.
All sanctions are at the staff’s discretion.
To contest a sanction, open a ticket on Discord. Any invalid contestation will result in doubling the sanction. Tickets disputing another player’s sanction will not be considered.
